This is the beginning…
I want to take a moment to spin you up on the purpose of this blog and what you can expect to see here. For starters if you know me personally you know that my memory is bad, my intentions are good and my grammar and punctuation is less than desirable. With that said, why should I even work on this and why should you waste your time deciphering it?
1. I need a place to gather my thoughts. Over the course of this project I will be meeting scores of strangers, traveling to all parts of this country and if I don’t keep track I stand to lose those details.
2. Sharing is caring. Every hero I meet, every sunset I witness and every location I roll through is worth painting a picture and letting others experience if even in their imagination.
3. I understand that my punctuation and grammar is not always on point and I will do my best to use spell check and clean it up. I want to make it clear that my priority is to document the details of these interactions and will concern myself with the rest when the time comes. Please bear with me on this.
In conclusion I invite you to follow the journey and live through this blog in meeting some of our country’s military heroes. I have no idea how this will come together but I know I will be happy I took the time to scratch it down here.
